It’s late on Sunday night for me so I’m going to keep this post short, but this recipe is so good that I couldn’t go to bed without sharing it with you!
Since I’m doing the No Processed Sugar Challenge, I have been on the lookout for recipes to satisfy my sweet tooth that don’t use any processed sugar. I bookmarked this recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls Light from Mama Pea about a year ago (holy smokes how did a year go by so fast?!), but had never tried it until last weekend.
I can’t believe it took me so long to make this recipe because oh man were these dough balls awesome!! They were a big hit with my friends (and my husband liked them too) and I’m sure I will be making more of these again really soon.
You can get the full recipe here. The only changes I made were to use about twice as many dates (I used 15 regular-sized pitted dates), 2 tsp vanilla extract, and Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips. YUM!!!
Before I go I also wanted to show you what I got in the mail the other day….
Isn’t it awesome?! I love it and was so excited to show it off!!
Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow to check out this week’s Food Matters Project recipe….it was sooooo good I couldn’t stop sampling it!Pin It
